FIONIA Relay gives you the opportunity to experience FIONIA Long Distance Triathlon powered by Sparekassen Danmark as a team.
A relay team consists of three athletes who together complete the full distance:
- 3.8 km swim
- 180 km bike
- 42.2 km run
Each athlete completes one discipline before handing over to the next team member.
Experience the full distance together
FIONIA Relay is for friends, clubmates, colleagues and families who want to be part of the FIONIA experience without having to complete all three disciplines themselves.
The relay gives you the opportunity to share the experience, the challenge and the finish line with others. At the same time, your team will race on the same courses and have access to the same aid stations, transition areas and professional race organisation as the individual full-distance athletes.
Teams can compete as women's, men's or mixed teams.
The same courses as FIONIA Long Distance Triathlon
Relay teams race on the same courses as athletes in the individual full-distance race.
The swimmer starts at Nyborg Strand and completes a 3.8 km open-water swim.
The cyclist then takes over and completes the 180 km bike course through the Fyn countryside from Nyborg to Odense.
The runner finishes the day with a 42.2 km marathon through and around Odense before the team can celebrate their achievement together at the finish line at Odense Atletikstadion.

Price
DKK 3,900 per team + registration fee
Transport
We are currently exploring options for providing transport between the start and finish areas for Relay participants and their equipment. No final decision has yet been made regarding which transport solutions will be available.
